I am referring to aspell-0-50-3 from claws-w32.sf.net (this doesn't use
aspell-common.dll anylonger), these are my settings from the configuration
window:
Dictionary dir: c:/aspell/dict/
Aspell prefix: c:/aspell
Aspell common DLL: (leave free)
Aspell DLL: c:/aspell/bin/aspell-15.dll

To get some more detailed output, download the debug enabled version (URL in
my signature),it will dump a lot of information to the console (and
<personal files>\.sylpheed\debug.log), e.g. path problems etc. will show up
here.

HTH,
