I only list Win32 specific topics on that page. E.g. the Gtk-1 redraw
issue can be found at the *nix bug-tracker, so it isn't listed again.
As a workaround, press CTRL-L to force redraw.

Some things I remember causing crashes at end:
- Using old plugins or mixing debug/release versions of Sylpheed/plugins
- Address book has problems with non-US-ASCII characters, I remember having
  crashes at end with some corrupted address book files.
- If Sylpheed started some external applications and is closed before them
The debug version may reveal the cause of the crash (search the homepage
for "debug").

Anyway, you need not fear data loss: The messages are written directly
after retrieval and most other info (folderlists, etc.) can be rebuilt.
At worst, you can loose the mark/read flags that changed in the session
that crashed.
