I can write a separate action that just finds which messages are marked for deletion and deletes them from their originating POP servers. The main reason I was having to write my own mail fetching Perl script was to add X-POP-Server and X-POP-UIDL headers to each message. If Sylpheed already has some way of keeping track of which messages came from which servers, with which UIDLs, than I can use that to write a delete-from-server action.
