Claws won't start

I'm running Sylpheed Claws (I can't tell you the exact version at the
moment, but it's pretty recent) on Windows XP ... sometimes.  For some
reason, it seems to get to a point where I can't restart it, even
though it exited normally.  Rebooting the system clears the problem,
but again, after starting and exiting a few times, Claws won't start.
No messages, no crashes, no errors.  It just never comes up.

Anyone else experienced this?  Any known solution?
