Compose message problems?

Are the problems with the "Compose message" window going to be addressed
at some point?  If you delete several lines of of text (e.g., a
signature), they don't get erased on screen, but continue to display
until you cover and uncover the window or scroll those lines off and
back.

I'm assuming this is a Win32 specific problem, or it would have been
fixed by now.  Still, I'm sure others are seeing this, no?
