Preferred spam filter for Windows/Sylpheed-0.9.0Claws?

Is there a preferred spam filter for use with Sylpheed-0.9.0Claws on
Windows?  I recently had to be away from email for 36 hours, and found
650 messages, most of which were spam, on my return.  This convinced me
of the need for a (partially) automated solution.
