Well i compiled it on Linux with no problems last night, it wasn't that hard. The reason i personally want to move to GTK2 is that it has full unicode support. Currently, i don't think i could read a message in russian, for example. I can't even read lithuanian messages sometimes.

BTW, why does Sylpheed ignore my locale when I am replying? I get that "On Wed..." in english and i cannot convince it to write that stuff in Lithuanian, though it does show the dates in lithuanian in the letters listing of a folder.
Also, that "raÅ_Ä—:" had to be "rašė:", but seems like sylpheed is a bit broken there.
