[sylpheed:37077] Socket timeout with Gmail

Hi,

I have been experiencing for long a socket timeout to existing
imap.gmail.com that freezes the UI, until the socket actually times out,
which is very annoying because it happens fairly often.

These are the contents of the log window last time it happened:

May I known if I am the only one suffering from this or not? If it's a
general problem of the program, is there any workaround or fix, or else
are there any plans to fix it?

I am using Sylpheed 3.7.0 from Debian (11).
