I'm constantly doing both and also have some computers with a right-hand
mouse and others with a left-hand mouse. Besides, it's but a short
distance for my right thumb to go from a right-hand mouse to the number
keypad's "Enter" key.

I see what you mean. The placement of buttons I see is the opposite of
what you see. I'm using CentOS 7.
