Hi all! My trusty Sylpheed is acting up! On the log, I see: * Connecting to POP3 server: pop.gmail.com... ** LibSylph-WARNING: sock_read: received EOF ** GLib-CRITICAL: Source ID 827146 was not found when attempting to remove it ** LibSylph-WARNING: [02:27:34] Connection closed by the remote host. ** Connection closed by the remote host. * Connecting to POP3 server: pop3.uccor.edu.ar... * SSL certificate of pop3.uccor.edu.ar previously accepted ---- This happens when downloading from gmail's pop3 server (actually pop.gmail.com) with TLS enabled (as I read somewhere, this is needed). Without TLS, the error is different: [02:43:57] POP3< -ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted. ** LibSylph-WARNING: [02:43:57] error occurred on authentication ** error occurred on authentication [02:43:57] POP3> QUIT [02:43:57] POP3< +OK Bye cj31mb41719615oob ** LibSylph-WARNING: [02:43:57] Authentication failed. ** Authentication failed. ---- I suspect this is due to the fact that gmail.com doesn't allow 'lesser security' clients anymore. Is there a solution to this? John
