Thanks for your suggestion, but when starting a new Sylpheed these
variables do not appear, only when you change these to a non default
value. Thus it will be very tricky to automate this, I agree with you.

I will handle one master Sylpheed and copy the .xml files. AFAICS this
works quite well :)
