It's also really bad practice. The user profile is meant to hold data,
not executables for a reason.

Installing an application in this location leads to all kinds of
problems (just think server-based profiles etc.) And that's to say
nothing about the security implications.

This is the reason why the auto-update version has always been 
unusable in anything but a don't-know-don't-care-homeuser-setup. 

Without a doubt it is also the reason why TheBat has been gone through
the mess of offering two separate versions to install. Obviously the
devs are fully aware of what a bad idea this NAU process is, but
haven't yet gotten around to fixing it.
