Do you use Classic Preview Pane or the Conversation View?

You can add CEF DevTools by adding this to TBUSER.DEF (while The Bat! is not running):

update property layout [MainForm_MainMenu]
{
  select [MailerForm].[mHelp]
  insert
    item [ViewFrame].[mCefDevTools]
      caption "DevTOOLS"
}

If the DevTools window opens, we can at least say CEF is working. Then, we can check the console output for error messages - hopefully, we'll have some clues
