Hello George, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, 11:19:27 AM, you wrote: gbi> Howdy! gbi> Вы писали 09 февраля 2026 г., 17:43:26: >> Howdy! >> Вы писали 09 февраля 2026 г., 17:02:34: >>> 64-bit https://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/v12/thebat_64_12-0-2-6.msi >> Again have it error about CEF unsupported version after install. How to check which version my TB! use it now? gbi> Re-install as repair - same error. >>> libcef.dll shows in file property the version number 142.0.14.0 To my experience, as I|ve described a few time already - there seems to be - one place where CEFs are located under %userprofile%/AppData/Local/The Bat!/CEF and another one in the "Program Files" - The Bat! install folder. The problem, IIRC, was that the installer installed the new CEF version into the profile folder while TheBat! is running from the "Program Files" folder and loads the CEF from there - the old version. My solution (which hasn't appeared again after I started to consequently download the "NAU" version) was to take the desired CEF version (newest or from the error message) and copy its content over that installed in "Program Files" TheBat! install folder. The immediate cause seems to be a mix up of two installation styles - the "normal" one in "Program Files" and the unfortunate "unprivileged user" one in the user's profile. -- Best regards, Viktor mailto:[email protected] ________________________________________________________ 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
