This is a Windows setting. Pre-W11 this was accessible through a right-click on the notification area, then you could select apps to be shown Äright away".

In Windows 11 I haven't found a direct way but: yo can right-click on the taskbar and enter Taskbar settings. Then somewhere in the middle of that dialog, you see something like "Other taskbar symbols" and then "Hidden symbols menu" or similar. Sorry, I'm translating from my German GUI...
There, at least for me, there were at least 6-7 (hehh!) TheBat! identities and only one brought the icon to show immediately. So if you have more, click every one of them, one is gonna bring up the icon. You can unclick "all the other TheBats".

Does that help?

Otherwise my Google query was
https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+11+show+apps+in+notification+bar
when the AI summary already shows the way: "To show apps in the Windows 11 notification area (system tray/corner overflow), open Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and select Other system tray icons to toggle individual app icons on. For notifications on app icons themselves, toggle Show badges on taskbar apps under the Taskbar behaviors menu."

Cheers
