This is a multi-part message in MIME format... ------------=_1779032940-1324-35 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi, is there ANY chance for TheBat to ever get support for the IMAP NOTIFY extension? https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc5465 It is vastly superior to IMAP IDLE as it does not require a separate connection for every folder, so combined with server-side filtering (which I assume most people use nowadays) it allow messages to show up in realtime for all folders. In fact, it feels like IMAP support - even though it's pretty much at the core of TB's functionality - has been left untouched for many years. This is a bit of a shame, because especially when using modern IMAP servers (Dovecot) on the other side, you lose out on all the nice features they have (like NOTIFY).
