Use of older Quick Templates in Version 3

Will Quick Templates that work in Version 2, for example those at
http://cgi.marck.free-online.co.uk/library.php , work in Version 3?
Will the older QT's have to be re-written? If so, is there a utility
that can automate the re-writing?
