Cut-Mark finder in RegEx

I have been using one of the _Extract_ QT's from Marcks pages.
Perhaps I have (mis)tweaked it, perhaps not. Nonetheless, the
following line in an email serves to signal "Drop everything beyond
the dashes".

aging Nushi -- little Bagari is absolutely gorgeous!

</Quote>

I'd include the whole extract stuff but I'm not sure that is
necessary.

Help please from Regex guru's ??
