That's rather easy.
The main advantage of using TB in such a setup is that you need
only one system to backup any data. That's a major pro in a LAN with a
file server, especially in a business environment where data loss
costs money.
In a home environment without a LAN or without a (dedicated) file server
the gain is zero.
In a home environment with a (dedicated) file server the longer access
time might outweigh the advantages of an easy backup.
