Maia Won't Let me log in and is blocking mail

I am ruining g Maia 1.04 on FreeBsd 12 with mySQL MariaDB version 5.7.32,  Postfix version 3.6-20201104 and Dovecot Version 2.3.11.3

I have been getting the following errors message since my last update

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /usr/local/share/pear/MDB2.php on line 826

Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in /usr/local/share/pear/MDB2/Driver/mysqli.php on line 1154

The mail logs shows the following

I as assume I have broken my link with mysql??
