Also, if spam filtering is disabled for your user in the web interface, messages will not be scored or stored either.  Also, IIRC there is a setting in the admin section of the web internet to cache non-spam items or not.  You may need to double check that as well.

Not sure why it would think that.  There are some entries in the W/B list,
but not sure why "everything" would be whitelisted.

Good point on the logging -- I increased from level 1 to 5 in maiad and
restarted, so..  We'll see what it says on the next message
