Yeah. I've taken a crack at this a few different times but always ended up stuck (I'm no PHP dev, though.) It really seemed to get convoluted when it came to an HTMLPurifier replacement. I got quite lost there. I'd imagine there's many ways to replace it (via code or additional tools) but I'm simply not that well versed in web design.

Good luck to anyone in this attempt to help revive Maia! If it happens, I'll see what I can do to get it tested and re-added to the FBSD ports tree.
