Given that: 1. It fails with maia 1.05 on php 8 2. It works with maia 1.04a on php 7 I was thinking the issue had to be something that changed in php 8. So the next step in trying to isolate the issue was to test maia 1.05 on php 7. But Maia 1.05 on php 7 fails in exactly the same way as Maia 1.05 on php 8. So it's not php 8. It's gotta be related to the conversion of the code from MDB2 to PDO. I need to go through all the code that affects the processing of user_token that is used to authenticate from the digest email. Hopefully something will shake out soon.
