Looking at the source code and Github project, it looks like F-Secure (or now known as WithSecure) on Linux is supported via wrapper, where it runs the command line fsanalyze command. This corresponds to their documentation as well. https://github.com/MailScanner/v5/blob/master/common/usr/lib/MailScanner/wr= apper/f-secure-12-wrapper https://github.com/MailScanner/v5/pull/553 https://www.withsecure.com/userguides/product.html?business/linux-protectio= n/latest/en/task_6FF3CD0A72924F32A5B43E2600529C51-latest-en I would expect that you need a licensed copy of WithSecure Linux Protection, download the package respective to your platform, etc. https://www.withsecure.com/userguides/product.html#business/linux-protectio= n/latest/en/task_fqp_l43_b1c-latest-en On Sat, Jun 1, 2024 at 6:17=E2=80=AFPM Rick Gutierrez <[email protected]= om> wrote: > Hi list, I have a question and I want to share it with you, I > currently have a mailscanner with clamav on rocky linux working, but > I want to add a second antivirus, and I saw that someone uses > F-Secure, on the f-secure page they say that there is no support for > Linux > https://community.f-secure.com/en/discussion/126344/f-secure-on-linux. > > how did they install it? > > Or what other paid antivirus could be used with mailscanner, > experiences - stability? , I avoid avast :) > > > > -- > rickygm > > http://gnuforever.homelinux.com > > > -- > MailScanner mailing list > mailscanner-qhrM8SXbD5JTOyd/[email protected] > http://lists.mailscanner.info/mailman/listinfo/mailscanner > > --00000000000078a134061a4d84a4 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">I don't have experience with F-Secure, but have used S= ophos and McAfee way back in the past (when it was supported by a previous = version of MailScanner).=C2=A0 Looking at the source code and Github projec= t, it looks like F-Secure (or now known as WithSecure) on Linux is supporte= d via wrapper, where it runs the command line fsanalyze command.=C2=A0 This= corresponds to their documentation as well.<div><br></div><div><a href=3D"= https://github.com/MailScanner/v5/blob/master/common/usr/lib/MailScanner/wr= apper/f-secure-12-wrapper">https://github.com/MailScanner/v5/blob/master/co= mmon/usr/lib/MailScanner/wrapper/f-secure-12-wrapper</a><br></div><div><br>= </div><div><a href=3D"https://github.com/MailScanner/v5/pull/553">https://g= ithub.com/MailScanner/v5/pull/553</a><br></div><div><br></div><div><a href= =3D"https://www.withsecure.com/userguides/product.html?business/linux-prote= ction/latest/en/task_6FF3CD0A72924F32A5B43E2600529C51-latest-en">https://ww= w.withsecure.com/userguides/product.html?business/linux-protection/latest/e= n/task_6FF3CD0A72924F32A5B43E2600529C51-latest-en</a><br></div><div><br></d= iv><div>I would expect=C2=A0that you need a licensed copy of WithSecure Lin= ux Protection, download the package respective to your platform, etc.</div>= <div><br></div><div><a href=3D"https://www.withsecure.com/userguides/produc= t.html#business/linux-protection/latest/en/task_fqp_l43_b1c-latest-en">http= s://www.withsecure.com/userguides/product.html#business/linux-protection/la= test/en/task_fqp_l43_b1c-latest-en</a><br></div></div><br><div class=3D"gma= il_quote"><div dir=3D"ltr" class=3D"gmail_attr">On Sat, Jun 1, 2024 at 6:17= =E2=80=AFPM Rick Gutierrez <<a href=3D"mailto:[email protected]">xs= [email protected]</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class=3D"gmail_quo= te" style=3D"margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204= );padding-left:1ex">Hi list, I have a question and I want to share it with = you, I<br> currently have a mailscanner with clamav on rocky linux=C2=A0 working, but<= br> I want to add a second antivirus, and I saw that someone uses<br> F-Secure, on the f-secure page they say that there is no support for<br> Linux <a href=3D"https://community.f-secure.com/en/discussion/126344/f-secu= re-on-linux" rel=3D"noreferrer" target=3D"_blank">https://community.f-secur= e.com/en/discussion/126344/f-secure-on-linux</a>.<br> <br> how did they install it?<br> <br> Or what other paid antivirus could be used with mailscanner,<br> experiences - stability? , I avoid avast :)<br> <br> <br> <br> -- <br> rickygm<br> <br> <a href=3D"http://gnuforever.homelinux.com" rel=3D"noreferrer" target=3D"_b= lank">http://gnuforever.homelinux.com</a><br> <br> <br> -- <br> MailScanner mailing list<br> <a href=3D"mailto:mailscanner-qhrM8SXbD5JTOyd/[email protected]" target=3D"_blank">mai= lscanner-qhrM8SXbD5JTOyd/[email protected]</a><br> <a href=3D"http://lists.mailscanner.info/mailman/listinfo/mailscanner" rel= =3D"noreferrer" target=3D"_blank">http://lists.mailscanner.info/mailman/lis= tinfo/mailscanner</a><br> <br> </blockquote></div> --00000000000078a134061a4d84a4-- --===============3375132598627984908== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline -- MailScanner mailing list mailscanner-qhrM8SXbD5JTOyd/[email protected] http://lists.mailscanner.info/mailman/listinfo/mailscanner --===============3375132598627984908==--
