Re: qmailadmin suggestions -- SOrry if I send a Personal one

Looks like a problem in vauth_getpw() from vpopmail.  I think you're on the right track with going from 5.5 back down to 5.4.

I'm still running QmailAdmin 1.2.12 and Vpopmail 5.4.20.
