vqadmin compiling problems

Hello.
Im trying compile vqadmin-2.3.2 in Debian Sarge. When I make the
./configure ( with
--enable-cgibindir=/var/www/localhost/htdocs/cgi-bin ), I get this
problem:

sed: file conftest.s1 line 51: unterminated `s' command        <------

I've looking for conftest.s1 but i dont find it. What can be the problem?
