quota change error ?

hi all,
after changing a user's quota [let's say 30M] with a success message, i
login in to the mail account; but i still see the default quota. [which is
10M]
[i use squirrelmail with a show_quota plugin.]
how can i be sure that whether that user's quota really changes or not ?
[because the plugin always shows 10M even if i get success message.]
