folder subscribe problem

Hi.  In my imap I have a "Deleted Items" folder, but when I try to
subscribe to like this
%Deleted Items "imap deleted messages"
iwl tells me that the folder does not exist. Now this imap is on my
server and in my .maildir folder I have .Deleted Items directory  witi
its new, cur, etc.  So, what am I doing wrong trying to subscribe to
this folder?
