bug when deleting a thread

Hi.  I am running into a problem when deleting a thread under certain
circumstances.  I am not exactly sure when this happens, but I will
describe this to the best of my ability.

If I start from the first message of the thread, it always works just
fine.  The problems come in if I read and delete maybe one or two
messages in a thread and then I don't want to bother with the rest of
the thread and so I will say t d and sometimes only one message will
be deleted instead of all the rest of the thread.  Of course,
sometimes there is only one left, so that makes sense, but sometimes
there are multiple messages which should be deleted, but only one
message is deleted.  Has anyone seen this before?
