That's precisely what I was asking about. Your hint did the job. Thank you! So this is documented in section 4.1.2: "When the cursor is on the access group and this command is called with prefix argument, folder children list is updated to the newest one", right? But I did not know that my "%/" is an 'access folder'... This folder specifier does not follow the syntax of an access folder. (I got it from the Wanderlust Configuration Quickstart at EmacsWiki.)
