have bbdb3 installed, easy peasy, using package, thanks ken.

but my old bbdb elisp is completely monstrous, cruft of decades and i do
not know what 10% of it does.

on a new machine, i need something simple to
save-the-from-address-in-this-message and tab completion when composing.

i can screw it up from there.
