Hi, I am using Gentoo linux and BBDB updated to version 3.1.2. The source is http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/bbdb/bbdb-3.1.2.tar.gz. I am also using wanderlust 2.15.9_p20190623 from https://github.com/wanderlust/wanderlust/archive/ Sure enough, emacs 26.2 now complains on startup: "No such file or directory, bbdb-hooks" Commenting out all bbdb related stuff brings back normal emacs and wanderlust but of course without bbdb. I read up on several threads regarding BBDB 3 and saw the message from Rob Walker (25 Mar 2018) but I can't find bbdb/wl-header in bbdb-wl.el. I noticed something saying about melpa but prefer to stick with my vanilla stable portage repositories. Any ideas how I can BBDB back? Thanks so much Petrik
