email bounce when server has some load

Hi,

our xmail server bounces the email when an account recevice some tens email at a time.

I played with –SX parameter leti it accept more smtp connections at a time without fixing our issue.

Our problem is that when our monitoring system signals some network problem it sends hundreds of mails.
So i need some hours to get all the the emails.

What parameter I have to modify to let my xmails erver accepting more mails at one time?
