Hi Florin, Yes, this is a known issue. YoSucker uses some local language characters when parsing incomming messages and those characters are not UTF-8 encoded, that's why you get the error. It is not easy to migrate YoSucker to UTF8 as the perl support for UTF8 has not been completed yet and significant changes came only in 5.8.x and lots of users use perl 5.0.x. However I thought of fixing this problem by using the 'no utf8' directive in YoSucker's code that should prevent it from outputing in utf8 at all. Perl should take this directive into consideration when working with scripts but as I see now, the LOCALE settings seem to have a precedence. Hm, I guess the easiest solution is to run YoSucker from a script that sets the LANG value to non-utf8 and then turns it back to UTF once YoSucker has finished. Hope this brought a bit of light to the situation. Take care, Florin! Vlad -z3r0- You wrote: > Hya fellas, > > Prototype 41 works great for me.
