I would try PR57 with this modification. Is has fixed all my
Abmormal...(02) errors.

OK. This doesn't really seam to be "100mb" related. There seem to be a
different login procedure on different Yahoo accounts. Some need 3 steps
login, some 4 step. I thought the 4 step is only necessary with the old
rocketmail accounts but it seems there are some generic @yahoo.com accounts
with the same problem. So... Please: to help me sort out this thing, please
log in manualy to your account and copy the address of the first page that
opens after you login (the page that shows the summary of new messages and
some Yahoo crap, etc.). This will hopefully help me to determine the
"malicious" yahoo servers that behave in a different way.
I may introduce a feature to force 3 or 4 step login manually/from the
.conf file, but I am without a computer at the moment so I can't say when
that will be. In a meanwhile, you can try this workatround, that was
previously described by "David Aspinwall":
- open lib/sputnik.pm
- find the following line (around line 400):
if ($class->{config}{USERNAME} =~ /.rm$/) {
- put '#' character at the begining of the line
- now it looks like:
# if ($class->{config}{USERNAME} =~ /.rm$/) {
- find an apropriate '}' few lines bellow
- commet the } line with the # in a similar way
- you should get # }
- now to see you've commented the right '}' symbol,
move the cursor to the symbol in 'vi' editor and
press % or $ (confusion confusion!!!:-)
- the cursor should jump to the
# if ($class->{config}{USERNAME} =~ /.rm$/) {
line if you've done your job right.
Well. Have fun! I hope this helps a bit. Send me your feedback!!!
Cheers!
Vlad
