Perhaps a note in the distribution directory might be helpful?  The
readme.txt file just says "Mac OS X"

Nifty.  Too bad it doesn't work with Panther :-/

If I get some time, I'd be happy to take a swing at it, although I've
never done Mac programming, and from what I gather, the documentation on
writing Mail bundles is scarce and unofficial . . . (please correct me if
I'm wrong).
