The display is always segmented one way or another. As far as search goes, simply enter the query string you are after. > > I've been reading > > http://zoe.omara.ca/index.php?page=Searching > > Which directed me to a primer on Lucene search. The application doesn't give you access to all the message attributes. You best bet is to keep you query as simple as possible and not try to get to fancy. The app will usually "Do The Right Thing" (SM). > I can do a general search for the list name, but of course this is > sloppy, and returns more than I want. The simplest thing to do is to use the "contextual" search: select a context (e.g. a date, a name, etc) and perform your search there by using the little down arrow. This will automatically restrict your search. > If somebody could post an example of how to use any of the available > keys in a search (it doesn't even have to be 'list'), that would be > great! But even then, I'm not quiet sure how this will help you. Your best bet is to simply query for the relevant keywords. This is the most effective way to search for something without having to worry where such keyword appear in a message. The app already does multi field query for you. > Also, I have a mail list archive which has some wacked headers. The filter is only applied when you receive new messages. To apply it to previous messages, run a rebuild. from the command line: java -jar Zoe.jar rebuild This will recreate the entire data store and re-apply any new filters to your messages.
