[newbie] Mailinglists and spam

I have read http://zoe.omara.ca/MailingLists but can't get it to work.

Four questions:

1. I don't have any Zoe/Library/SZ/Configurations 
or Zoe/Library/SZ/Configurations/Default 
directories in my freshly downloaded copy of Zoe. 
Is there something wrong or can I simply create 
them?

2. What should the name of the file actually be? 
The Wiki lists it as alt.dev.szmail.SZMail$List 
Filter.properties with a space and a dollar sign 
in it (indicating a variable?). I have tried a 
few alternatives but nothing seems to be 
registered

3. Does it matter which line endings the file has?

4. I have added some spam indicating headers, and 
they show up under configuration -> SpamHeader 
but spam with these headers still appear on the 
'front' page of Zoë. What is suppose to happen 
with spam?
