How long do you wait then?
That doesnt seem to work for me, as a new user ID hash number is generated.
I never tried to let it run though for extended periods of time (say more
than a couple of hours) to see whether Zoe recovers itself...
It didnt recover after an hour or so.

I have 2 installations:
- Suse Linux, Sun JDK 1.4.2, with >40'000 messages
- Windows XP, Sun JDK 1.4.2, 3'073 messages

and it happens to both; as both at the moment read from the same pop accounts,
and it doesnt happen to both at the same time, I think that it is not caused
by a specific email message ...
