the configuration/setup pages for Zoe does it show the SpamHeaders?"
AFAIK it DOESN'T; they only appear in SpamHeader.properties where you
put them.
"I have also created a file called SpamHeader.properties in the
Library/SZ/Configurations/Default, but as far as I can tell it isn't
being used and messages flagged with the "X-Text-Classification: spam"
header are not being ignored. The line in the file is:
X-Text-Classification=spam. Any ideas? I have run ZOE in debug mode
and can't see where the SpamHeader.properties file is being picked up."
I am mightily ignorant. Please take these suggestions with a grain of
salt.
+ May I ask if you have rebuilt (java -jar Zoe.jar rebuild debug) AFTER
creating the SpamHeader.properties file?
+ May I ask if you might need to add other properties to the same file?
The contents of my SpamHeader.properties file are as follows:
X-Text-Classification=spam
X-Spam-Flag=yes
X-SpamPal=spam
X-Spambayes-Classification=spam
subject.1=jurisprudÍncia
subject.2=adv
This works fine (I'm on an iBook on OSX BTW) to remove all emails with
said flags (i.e. if ANY flag is tripped, it's gone!). Note that as
marked in the http://zoe.omara.ca wiki, I am using the practice of
creating a "multiple-keyword Flag" by using numerical extensions. That
way, if EITHER word appears in the Subject: line, the email Goes Away.
Normally each category can only be defined by one term; when Zoë
rebuilt, I saw that it glommed it together as something like
"Subject=jurisprudÍncia, adv". However, the "raw" form remains in the
file.
I hope you find this helpful.
