I'm having the same problem - that of mails
vanishing spontaneously. I sometimes lose access
to recent mails who were otherwise living happily
in Zoë. Fortunately it is temporary; and thus I
have found the best solution to be waiting
patiently. After some time (or activation of an
unknown trigger) the lost mails come back and
everything is well again.

It is curious: The 'vanishing' does not seem to be
periodic, but so far it has happened three times to
me, all in the recent three or four months. I think
I heard it mentioned in one of the mailing lists in
the past couple of months as well. I deduce that,
probably, it is either related to the amount of
data stored in the archive, or it is an artifact in
one of the newer versions.


My copy of wonderful Zoë (0.5.8) runs on a Win2K
box, in Java HotSpotT Client VM 1.4.0_02, and
provides shelter for 4.465 messages.
