That's not really how Zoe should be used. You only need to import ONCE to get your existing email archives into Zoe. If set up in the standard way, it will happen automatically from that point on.

The basic setup that Zoe was intended to work with is to put Zoe between your mail client and your mail server. In other words, have Zoe get email from your ISP for you and use your email client to get email from Zoe. Going the other way, you send email from your email client to Zoe and Zoe forwards it to your ISP. Zoe sits in between your client and server and acts as an archiver. One twist on this is to add a spam filter like POPFile between your ISP's mail server and Zoe.

There's plenty of information on how to set this up available from several sources such as the Zoe FAQ on the Zoe home page, http://zoe.omara.ca/, http://rodney.buzzword.com/zoe and the archives of this mailing list. So, the short answer to your question is RTFM ;)
