a partner flag to shouldDelete called, for instance, shouldExpunge that would not expunge the IMAP 
if not set would be useful for myself, and perhaps others.  looking at the source, it appears it 
would be quite easy to implement at that spot like:

if ( shouldExpunge == true )
{
    try
    {
         aLocalFolder.expunge();
    }
    {
     [exception handling]
     }
}

and of course the coresponding preference read-in.
