my gawd rafael... what has happened to your nice little application ? forget all previous issues for now as i have scrapped the entire previous zoe install and am restoring it's functionality from scratch, step-by-step along the way to ensure each leg is functioning before moving to the next. i have installed a vanilla zoe without any accounts... imported only my RSS feeds file before doing anything else, and it appears to have worked. i then shut zoe down through the gui and went to start it back up to ensure that the imported RSS feeds were still functioning, and noticed all these errors pertaining to one of the RSS feeds: "11/27 10:03:52 (Warning) InternetAddress.parse: javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Missing '"' in string ``"Hello 2Day.. I'm so Confussed =\" <[email protected]>'' at position 80" it appears that the error is repeated for every <ITEM> in the feed. so i restarted zoe (without changing anything) and now it appears as tho i have 2 messages in the main zoe store that were in fact newly posted RSS feed entries. now listed under the "Contributors" section is the address http://127.0.0.1:10080/address/com/livejournal/hello.2day.i.m.so.confussed, and listed in the "Lists" section is the original name for this same RSS feed http://127.0.0.1:10080/list/2004/11/27/nothin.special%40livejournal.com (with the older entries listed under that.) any idea what's up ? is this because of oddities in the LJ RSS feed ? the <TITLE> for this feed appears to have changed at just this moment. feeds that change <TITLE> shouldn't be a problem, right ? to my lamen eyes it looks like zoe didn't like the new <TITLE> having the symbols "=\" in it and is processing it as-is and escaping an ending quote marks sonewhere else down the line. below is the rss feed content with <ITEM>'s removed: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> - <!-- If you are running a bot please visit this policy page outlining rules you must respect. http://www.livejournal.com/bots/ --> - <rss version="2.0"> - <channel> <title>Hello 2Day..
