Yep... the default Lucene analyzer tries to recognize "common" text 
entities (e.g. a host name) and then index them as one token.

Nothing wrong. You can always try wild card searches: "lexis*extension".

You should be able to use the full Lucene query syntax [1] for the 
following fields:

from, to, subject, attachment, header, year, month, and day
