Nope. Plain "true" and "false"

Hmmm... it has always worked... but perhaps not the way you think... if 
you want to avoid a folder, simply don't list it in the first place... 
otherwise, the boolean value indicates if ZOË should recurse in that 
folder or not (ie look for sub-folders).

Whatever IMAP's LIST returns. This is server specific most likely. 
There is only one standard folder defined in the IMAP protocol: Inbox. 
The rest is varies from system to system.
