Sorry I haven't jumped in sooner, but I haven't been keeping up on my lis=
ts.  I was also waiting till I had a chance to try out 0.6.2 before respo=
nding because Rafa=EBl said he was going to fix a relevant bug ( https://=
sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=3D10096579).  I am a littl=
e reluctant to recommend my strategy since this bug is still in place and=
 complicates things a little.

There's another strategy that works better for what you're trying to do.

My strategy, just like yours, involves reading email on my email client, =
directly from my ISP's mail POP server, deleting messages I don't really =
want to keep, and forwarding the rest to ZO=CB.  Since, ZO=CB wasn't desi=
gned to work this way, there are some tricks required to get this to work=
.

1. An extra account in your mail program that sends to ZO=CB with a '.imp=
ort' login:

   With version 0.4.6, ZO=CB added the 'mail as transport' feature that a=
llows you to send transport messages to ZO=CB that are not forwarded even=
 though the forwarding feature is turned on (See https://sourceforge.net/=
mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=3D5899975 and https://sourceforge.net/mail=
archive/message.php?msg_id=3D5932834).

   Just like turning forwarding on and off for each message, changing you=
r email account ZO=CB login between <yourusername> and <yourusername>.imp=
ort is impractical.  However, if you just add a second account with a log=
in of <yourusername>.import then you can simply send email to yourself fr=
om that account with messages that you want to keep included as attachmen=
ts (See https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=3D10086244=
).  Of course you have to have a mailer that supports multiple accounts.

2. You need a bogus email server to connect to:

   ZO=CB forces you to specify a host to get your mail from even if you d=
on't want to.  You need a server that doesn't get any actual email for ZO=
=CB to connect to on each fetch cycle.

3. Turn on forwarding in ZO=CB.

   This allows messages sent from the <yourusername> account to be sent o=
n to your ISP and saved by ZO=CB even though transport container messages=
 sent from the other account don't get forwarded.
