heh, nice try! Actually, the silly thing is - a lot of the 2008 numbers did initially have 2008 release dates, but then got put back due to varying circumstances which are too boring to go into here - I do hate it when that happens, but sometimes it really can't be helped (and if you allocate a 2009 number, then you've got gaps...) Oh I often think about next year, and wonder what form it'll take - it's something we don't have to think about until next year, however, that old chestnut of conflicting barcodes will come back to haunt us, I'm sure.... (I'm thinking of ways around that, though) There'll still be 2010 catalogue numbers... I mean, so far this year we're up to 2922 - and it's only February!! --- In [email protected], "schokofueralle" <schokofueralle@...> wrote: > > Tsk, another decade is nearing its end again and what could be more > exciting than to figure out which cat# will be found on the first (or > something) 4AD-release of next year. > > As #3001-3017 are all occupied by 1993's releases I fail to come up > with anything less ridiculous than ... erm: 3D01 !! > I mean, c'mon, three decades have passed so there: 3D## :) > > A bit farfetched?
