perhaps it's time to make this a moderated list.  at least one where new
members need to be verified with one of those nice emails that guarantees
the person on the other side is a person, and not a bot!  you know, the
"click here if you really want to join this list;  piss off if you're a damn
spamming bot" type dealies.

not that this list sees much traffic these days, but when the overwhelming
majority of it is spambots, it's pretty sad.

i was hoping to see lots of replies to anthony's top 10 of 2002 list, but
alas - nothing but spam so far!
