My friend has that Pixies Boot, I'll check. I heard the "Tossed w/lyrics" boot -
not very good quality, and not a strong song, lyrically - I passed on it. The one
to watch for is that Frank Black solo show recorded pre-solo debut... where he
plays all the Pixies songs, and only his parts at that. It was hilarious, and
wonderful... and I lost my copy years ago. Anyone have it? It might have been
on Kiss The Stone out of Italy (of course).
also, on the Rentals - I DAT taped a show, with Maya Rudolph (sigh) live at
Tower Records, Rockville MD, 2.14.96 (acoustic show) - I have 'em mp3ed, if
anyone can host 'em?
I assume all those other links at the Rentals site will become active? I need
those "For the Ladies" demos!
I'm encoding all my music to mp3, to share with friends and make my
iPodding easy... I'll post links to the songlist sometime later this mothe when I
finally finish, if anyone wants to trade for goodies. Here's a sample of the
